Cases where gum recession affects several teeth are common. It is especially important to solve these situations in the aesthetic zone, when the front teeth are at risk or very sensitive. In the case of the following patient we also performed a periodontal microsurgical plastic procedure after preparation, but with the so-called “tunnel” technique, without opening the interdental spaces. We drew the connective-tissue free graft taken from the palate into the prepared “tunnel”, then suspended and positioned the gum using special sutures. The value of the case presented here is significant in that we can show our results 1 year and then 7 years after the surgery. The success of the recession coverage is still close to 100% after 7 years. These results hold their own on any international professional forum.
